Pre Production meeting and responsibilities

Responsibility of group 3:

Vy:

· Host (co-hosts) and speakers

· Speaks in segment 2

Zhihan:

· script coordinator

· speaks in segment 1

Ethan:

· podcast director

· speaks in segment 2,3,4

Yujie:

· Podcast editor

· Speaks in segment 2,3

Yve:

· Microsite editor

· Speaks in segment 1,3,4

Finally because of the time limit, we decide to combine segment 1 with 3, combine segment 2 with 4.

Zhihan is the content leader for part one, Ethan is the content leader for part two.

Pre-production meeting summary:

1. Time: 2:00pm on Monday.

2. Responsibility: see “Responsibility of group 3” above.

3. a. We decide that Vy is our podcast host, she is going to speak in all the segments and connect our individual ideas. She also has to make introductions and transitions in our podcast project.

b. Zhihan is the script coordinator. She is going to put everyone’s individual podcast script together, and reform it into a conversation version. She also needs to decide the length of the script and write specific sentences include transition and introduction of the podcast and show the script to other group members.

c. Ethan is our podcast director. He is going to make sure everyone turns their things in on time. And he will also talk in the most parts of our podcast. He will make schedule and decide which things to do next.

d. Yujie is our podcast editor. He will put our individual recording together and make sure our audio flows well. He will also find music and insert them into our podcast.

E. Yve is our microsite editor. Everyone will give their contents to her and she will put our contents in the microsite. She is responsible for microsite design and make sure everything is there.

4. To do: I have to revise our script to make sure everyone has the final script before they start to record.
